RULES
1) This site is strictly pg-13, if there is any content that is way beyond pg-13; it will be taken down, you will be contacted and will receive a warning. It is best to keep any pure mature content off this site.
2) This site promotes peace and respect between players and members, thus does not allow any sort of: harassment, quarreling, serious trolling, or anything that is against members in a way that causes trouble. If you have a beef with someone, please handle it either: privately or politely without hurting any sort of feelings.
3) It is best to use one Account for play and chatting. So that there is less confusion when a member is using more than one account.
4) Activity among old and new members (even if you are not roleplaying) is best within a seven-day period (pretty much post once a week at the least) to prevent site inactivity within a month. If its possible that you are going to be absent longer than a week, or leaving the site for good, please tell us so that those you played or chatted with know that you'll be missing for a period or permanently and be prepared for it.
5) We will be posting activity checks monthly to be sure you are still active.
6) Spamming on the site, except for the chatting section, is not necessary and therefore not allowed.
7) Any promoting of a person's site is to be posted in the Advertizements section of the board. But once it is posted, it must be available for us to advertise on that site in return.
8) If you have any questions, ask the head admins or any other staff member.
Role Play
1) Since this is a intermediate role-play, each post must be at least a paragraph long (approx: 45-85 words, 5-9 sentances) with the least amount of words being 45. But it is worked so that you cannot post until the 'post' button is activated.
2) It is best to not begin role-playing your applied character until it is approved by an administrator.
3) You are only allowed three Canon characters, nine mutant custom characters, and an unlimited amount of non-mutant custom characters
- What are mutants? How do you know if your character is classified as one?
- There are two types: Mutants that are humanoid living creatures and Mutants that only have abilities and powers that normal humans don't have or can't do. If you are unsure where your custom character will lie, please ask the staff via PM!
4) If you feel as though you lost motivation for a character, you can put it on hold for another time or put it in character adoption so another can play them.
5) Profiles are submitted into Applications so that they can be accepted with the Application Template that is provided.
6) Be sure to check the Character List to be sure your canon character is not already claimed if you wish to play a canon, and to see how many characters there are that you wish to interact.
7) Important links and things to know:1. The Definition of God-modding8) The only allowed characters are from the TMNT universe, keep this in mind when you are looking for a character to claim or create.
2. Mary-Sue test
3. Character Guide (TBC)9) Keep in mind that you can have a custom character with unique abilities, as powers can be hereditary or caused by a mutation.
- The TMNT should be 24 years of age.
- April and Casey should be almost 30 years old and should either be married to each other or engaged.
- Timeline/content will be TMNT 2003, TMNT 2007 movie and TMNT 2012 in mixture.
- Splinter is Master Yoshi in this timeline (Meaning Master Yoshi mutated into a rat instead of dying or having a pet rat)
10) Keep a list of your currently playing characters in your signature to help remind you and everyone you are playing with to lessen confusion.
11) Try to remain as in character as possible, while there are certain things such as same-gender pairings for characters that have not been portrayed as homosexual, it is best to at least play the character's personality and mannerisms correctly.
12) While playing, be a little courteous to other players and their characters, while something might have happened and you may not approve of it does not mean negative out of character actions should take place because of that. In character, it would happen; but we're looking for an friendly environment for players to interact with each other without social problems.
13) All plots are all open, especially if they are side and not really related with the main storyline; it is best to keep the plots' elements necessarily leveled to keep interest.
14) The RP currently follows Lucid time, meaning that the character cannot be in different places at the same time (at least in character).
15) Character Relationships are open, whether they are same-sex or opposite, but it is wiser to ask the player if you wish a pairing with them. There is a couple types of pairing that is more frequently frowned upon; one is a form of incest relationship that is between child and parent, child and grand-parent, child and aunt/uncle thus far; the other is a relationship involving an child [13 and below] and an adult [around 21 and above]
16) Ask the player if you want to react to their character, such as; Reading their mind or having a fight with them, etc.
We're still adding more rules or any that is important, if you have any ideas please contact the head admins.
